Capabilities: Local SEO & Entity Intelligence
Can the business be accurately understood as a real entity in a real place?
The short answer
This is the identity layer. When sources disagree about a business, systems tend to describe it cautiously, or describe a competitor instead.
This is more than ranking higher in Maps. Local discovery depends on whether systems encounter a consistent, sufficiently supported understanding of who the business is, what it does, where it operates, when it is available, which locations and services belong to it, and how public sources describe it. A business is rarely described from one place. It is assembled from a profile, a handful of directories, review platforms and the site itself. When those disagree about a name, an address, a category or an opening time, the disagreement itself becomes the problem, because there is no reliable version to repeat. Reviews and a profile do not directly cause an AI recommendation, and Goldeneye does not claim to know which source a private model weighted. Consistent sources and independent evidence strengthen the public information environment those systems draw on.
The work itself
Not every engagement includes every capability. What is applied depends on the findings, and on which of those you decide are worth acting on.
Google Business Profile
Claimed status, primary and secondary categories, attributes, hours including seasonal changes, service areas, and the products or services actually listed.
Entity and location consistency
Name, address, contact details, description and category compared across the site, structured data and every profile that carries them.
Citation and source alignment
Which third-party sources currently describe the business, which are outdated or wrong, which can be corrected at source, and which need to be outweighed.
Review and reputation signals
Volume, recency and distribution across platforms, and response behaviour where it affects how the business is characterised.
Location and service-area information
Distinct, machine-readable material for each place served, written so systems can tell locations apart rather than merging them.
How this connects to the findings
Disagreement between sources is recorded during a Check, with the source that carried each version. Corrections are made where a source allows it, and the record is re-read afterwards to confirm the corrected version is the one being repeated.
