Capabilities: Content, AEO & GEO Strategy
Does the information environment support the questions and decisions customers are making?
The short answer
This is the evidence layer. Systems repeat what they can extract and support, so content earns citation when it answers a real decision plainly and can be checked.
Most sites describe what a business offers. Fewer answer the decision a customer is actually making, in a form a machine can lift and attribute. The gap between the conversations customers are having and the material available to answer them is usually where a business goes unmentioned. AEO asks whether information is structured, supported and usable in direct-answer environments. Generative Engine Optimization looks at how clearly a business is understood and represented in generative search, including whether it is cited, included or considered when people ask for recommendations. GEO is optimization. AI visibility is observable outcome. None of this means writing for machines: content still has to be useful to a person while being clear, structured and supported enough to be interpreted. Because one decision surfaces through many conversational variations, content strategy is planned around decisions rather than around individual prompts, and no citation or recommendation is promised.
The work itself
Not every engagement includes every capability. What is applied depends on the findings, and on which of those you decide are worth acting on.
Decision-intent coverage
Which customer decisions in this category have supporting material behind them, and which are currently unanswered on the site.
Answer and extraction structure
Pages that state the answer directly, in a heading and body structure a system can lift without reassembling it.
Evidence and source support
Specifics that can be verified, such as hours, prices, constraints, access and conditions, in place of adjectives that cannot be checked.
Citation-worthy content architecture
How pages relate to one another so a subject is covered with depth and internal support, rather than repeated shallowly across near-duplicate pages.
Gaps between customer conversations and source material
The questions being asked in the category set against what exists to answer them, so the next piece of work is chosen by absence rather than habit.
How this connects to the findings
Coverage is assessed against the decisions observed in the category, not against a keyword list. What is published is written to be extractable, then retested to see whether it is being used.

Next step
Which of this work applies to your business is decided by findings, not by preference. A check establishes them.
