Solutions: Monitor
Watch how your business is represented.
What is Monitor?
For when you need to know when important conditions or representation change. Goldeneye records how you are described today and observes what changes as sources and platforms change, so an inaccurate or outdated description is caught rather than discovered by a customer.
Search and AI visibility do not stay still.
If this sounds familiar
- “A customer told us an AI assistant said something about us that was not true.”
- “We corrected our information once, and we have no idea whether it stayed corrected.”
- “Something changed in how we appear and nobody noticed for months.”
How do we know when something important changes? The public information environment moves. Website changes, business information changes, local profile changes, source changes, new or outdated citations, competitor movement, changed answers, conflicting representation, platform and search changes, and changes in which customer decisions you participate in. The answer a customer receives today is assembled from sources that can change tomorrow, without warning and without telling you.
Observation
What could change after the work is done?
Monitoring detects change. Analysis determines whether the change matters. Not every change becomes an alert. Choose something that could change to see what Goldeneye is watching, what would turn observation into attention, and what happens next.

Not every change needs a response. Part of the value is knowing which ones do.
Once your information is correct, the risk changes shape. It is no longer about being wrong today, it is about becoming wrong again quietly. Choose a change to see what would surface it.
Web Assurance is specifically concerned with representation accuracy and with conflicting or outdated information, so it is one part of monitoring rather than the whole of it. Goldeneye does not control external AI models and cannot guarantee what they will say about your organization. What can be done is to strengthen the evidence those systems may rely on and observe whether the representation changes.
Observation starts from a recorded baseline of how you are described today.

The problem with representation is that it changes quietly, and you find out from a customer.
What you get
Observation is only useful if it reaches you in a form you can act on, so this is reporting rather than a dashboard to log into.
A recorded baseline
How your business is currently described and found, written down, so any later change can be recognised as a change rather than argued about.
Reported change, in plain language
What moved since the last review, what the evidence points to, and whether it needs a response.
A response when it matters
Correction of what can be corrected, and strengthening of the evidence when it cannot.
Measurement you can rely on
Analytics and tag configuration set up around the actions that matter, such as enquiries, bookings and calls, so movement is read from events that are defined rather than assumed.
How observation works
- A baseline is establishedThe current representation is recorded in full, including the sources it appears to rest on. Without this, later change is unprovable.
- The same checks are repeated on a cycleCarried out by an analyst on a defined schedule rather than generated automatically, so a change is read in context.
- You are told what changedReported against the baseline, with the difference between noise and something that affects a customer decision made explicit.
- Action is taken where it is possibleSources are corrected where they can be, and where they cannot, the evidence around them is strengthened.
The engagements behind this
Each outcome is worked inside a defined Goldeneye engagement, with its scope and price stated openly on its own page.
If your situation is different
You have never had a baseline recorded
There is nothing to compare against until the first evaluation exists.
You already know something is wrong
Correct it before watching it.
You want to gain ground, not only hold it
Continuous work on the position rather than protection of it.
Related questions
- How does monitoring work?
- Monitoring starts with a recorded baseline: how your business is currently described and found, and which sources that description appears to rest on. The same checks are then repeated on a defined cycle by an analyst, not an automated alert feed. Each cycle is compared against the baseline, so a real change is reported to you in plain language, distinguished from ordinary noise. Where a change matters, such as an inaccurate claim, a lost listing or a source that has updated, it is corrected where that is possible, and the surrounding evidence is strengthened where it is not. Search and AI visibility do not stay still, so this runs continuously rather than once.
- Can Goldeneye control what AI says about our business?
- No. Goldeneye does not control external AI models and cannot guarantee what they will say about your organization. What can be done is to strengthen the evidence those systems may rely on and monitor whether the representation changes.
- What actually triggers a response?
- A change that would alter what a customer concludes or acts on. A difference in wording is recorded. An inaccurate fact, a lost listing or a source that has changed is acted on.
- How often is representation checked?
- On a defined cycle, carried out by an analyst rather than an automated alert feed. The cycle is agreed at the start so you know when you will hear, and you hear sooner if something material is found.
- Do we need monitoring if our information is correct today?
- Correct today is not a permanent state. Sources update, listings are edited by third parties, and models change which sources they trust. Monitoring exists so a change is caught by you rather than reported to you by a customer.
