The starting engagement

Find out what search and AI systems can actually understand about your business.

What does a Check answer?

What is true today, what is affecting your ability to be found, understood and recommended, and what should happen next.

One engagement, two scopes. Which one applies depends on where you are starting, not on which product you think you need.

Which situation are you in?

Choose the one that sounds like your business. Everything else, including the scope and the price, follows from it.

Existing Presence Check: $2,500. Pre-Build Check: $3,500.

Both scopes answer the same question. They differ only in what exists to evaluate: one reads a presence that is already live, the other establishes what the new one has to satisfy before launch.

What it produces

A baseline, and findings you can act on.

The purpose is not to produce the longest report. The purpose is to identify the smallest defensible set of findings that actually deserve action.

A Check produces a recorded baseline and a set of findings. A finding is not a task on a list. It states what was observed, the evidence behind it, what it appears to be affecting, and the action that would change it.

The chain is the same every time: an observable condition, the evidence that records it, the finding it supports, the priority it earns, and the recommended action that follows. A Check reads what search and AI systems can access and produce. It does not claim to see inside them.

Those findings are the connective tissue of everything that follows. They are worked, retested and read for movement, whether Goldeneye stays involved or your own team takes them forward.

How it is carried out

What is examined in AI answers.

The same procedure is applied to every business, so one Check can be compared against the next.

  • Query testing across answer engines

The questions your customers actually ask are put to the assistants and search surfaces they use, rather than a keyword list.

  • Citation and mention analysis

Who gets named, who gets a real description and who is only listed, alongside the named competitors and the sources cited or shown with the answer.

  • Accuracy review

What is being said about the business, and whether it matches what the business actually does today.

  • Gap mapping back to the evidence

Each gap is mapped back to the dimension and the evidence behind it, so a recommendation is never an opinion on its own.

Afterwards

What happens after a Check?

The findings are yours. Some businesses take them to their own team or agency and act on them. Others continue with Goldeneye, at the level of involvement that suits them.

  • Goldeneye Advisory

Goldeneye keeps the findings, priorities and specifications, and retests what changes. Your team or your partners do the work.

  • Goldeneye Managed

Goldeneye takes active responsibility for the agreed priorities, their implementation and their movement.

Every ongoing engagement includes retesting of the searches, answers and visibility areas being actively worked on. Frequency depends on the intervention and on how quickly the environment reflects change, so it is set per engagement rather than sold as a reporting cycle.

Every Check establishes a baseline. Ongoing work may begin from sufficient recent evidence; otherwise a scoped onboarding baseline is established.
